1. Phytochemistry and extraction technologies
<\/strong><\/p>

We develop and optimize the processes of supercritical CO\u2082 extraction, ethanol extraction and fractionation of bioactive compounds. All processes are carried out in a closed cycle, according to internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), with full control of temperature, pressure and media purity.<\/p>

2. Analytical chemistry and quality control
<\/strong><\/p>

We use validated HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR and UV-VIS methods for the identification and quantification of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. Our protocols ensure high reproducibility and reliability of results in accordance with international standards.<\/p>

3. Applied research and formulation
<\/strong><\/p>

In cooperation with industrial partners, we develop innovative formulations for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications, based on scientifically verified extracts. Our equipment and infrastructure Green Bull Institute operates in a facility with an area of \u200b\u200b2,000 m\u00b2, located at Kurtovi\u0107i 17, Klis (Croatia). The facility contains a modernly equipped laboratory, a pilot plant for extraction and distillation, and a dedicated space for formulation development and quality control.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The institute has the most modern systems for the extraction and processing of plant materials:<\/p>

  • 3\u00d7 Apeks Supercritical \u201cThe Force\u201d (120 L CO\u2082 extraction units)<\/li>
  • Capna ATLES Ethanol Extraction Line (30 kg batch)<\/li>
  • ARES Short-Path Distillation Units<\/li>
  • YHCHEM JGR-200 L reactors with precise temperature control<\/li>
  • Filtration, winterization and decarboxylation systems<\/li>
  • Analytical support: HPLC, GC-MS, UV-VIS and FTIR (in collaboration with partner laboratories)<\/li><\/ul>

      All processes are carried out in accordance with the principles:
      – GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
      – GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)
      \u2013 ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 guidelines
      \u2013 EU regulation on cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical products<\/p>

      The Institute operates within the legal framework of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union, and all products and protocols undergo internal and external quality control. The Institute, in cooperation with the certification body Quality Austria, is in the process of implementing a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and HACCP standards for safety and process control in the production and handling of herbal extracts. The goal is to establish an integrated system that ensures full traceability, safety and compliance with EU regulations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
